Let’s talk makeup! There are so many products I’ve used throughout the years that I just can’t seem to stop buying. There are also a few products that I recently discovered and absolutely LOVE! I’ll get into those in this blog and go over my everyday makeup routine as a college student!
My Daily Makeup Routine
As a busy college student, I usually keep my daily makeup routine pretty minimal. I spend most of my time either in class or babysitting, so I don’t put too much effort into my makeup during the week.
After I apply moisturizer, I’ll use either my Tarte or NARS concealer under my eyes and over any blemishes/redness. Depending on the day, I will use the IT Cosmetics CC Cream if I want some light coverage on my face. To set my concealer and cc cream, I will use Mary Kay’s face powder or translucent powder. Next, I put on a light coat of mascara and lightly fill in my brows with my Benefit pencil. Lastly, If my face is not tan, I will bronze the edges of my face! I usually stick to the same few products, and I can’t wait to share my top ones with you.
My Top 5 Favorite Products
- Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter– I know this product is hyped up so much on social media, but trust me when I tell you, this product is SOLID GOLD. This gives my skin the ultimate glow. It can be worn as a primer, by itself, or over your makeup for a highlight. This is perfect for summer and looks amazing alone on my skin!
- IT cosmetics CC cream– Let me tell you, I’ve been using this product religiously for the past 7 years. I’ve always disliked wearing foundation on my face because it usually feels too heavy on my face. This cc cream is the perfect solution because it is so light on the skin and is perfect for wearing every day! It goes on smooth and does not look “cakey” whatsoever. The coverage is buildable, so you can choose how much you put on to reach your optimal coverage. My favorite part about this product is that it covers any redness like a charm without hiding your natural beauty!
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Bronzer– I’ve tried out a lot of bronzers, but this one is my favorite so far. The shade is perfect for my skin tone and a little goes a long way, so the product lasts forever! I usually apply my bronzer to the edges of my forehead, cheekbones, and jawline. If you want to add some extra color to your face, you wont regret buying this bronzer.
- NARS creamy concealer– This concealer is a tried-and-true product of mine. Even though I occasionally use the Tarte Cosmetics concealer, NARS will always come out looking better. The coverage it gives is amazing while still being hydrating and buildable. The product formula is very light and appears as if you aren’t wearing anything. This product is a must!
- Lancôme Lash Idôle Mascara– I have officially found the best mascara. I have tried so many mascaras over the years and this one is hands down my favorite. As someone who’s had lash extensions, the length and volume this mascara gives my lashes is unreal. I would recommend this mascara to everyone!
