Spring is right around the corner! Now that knit sweaters and puffer jackets are making their way out, it’s time to make room for some new Spring closet staples. To help you decide what to buy this season, I will discuss my top 4 fashion trends to look out for during this season of transition. Hopefully this will give you some inspiration and insight into the fashion trends you might be seeing more of this spring.
1. Street Wear
Boyfriend style jeans, oversized blazers, trousers, neutral sweatpants, baseball caps, crop tops: these all make for the cutest streetwear look! Additionally, pair these pieces with some oversized sunglasses, gold jewelry, and some white sneakers. As a result, you’ll be ready to strut your heart out wherever you go! Most importantly, the key to this spring fashion trend is to look casual and put together at the same time. For example, here’s some inspiration pictures I pulled from Pinterest for street wear!
2. Bold & Bright Colors
Even though neutrals will always be in style, we are seeing a TON of bolder colors in current fashion trends. These colors include hot pink, green, blue, and purple. Needless to say, I am obsessed with this trend. I think wearing color adds such a fun pop to any pair of neutral pants or Jacket! This trend might not be for everyone, but if you are wanting to have fun with your fashion and stand out, it might be time to buy some bright colored clothing for Spring!
3. Y2K Style
It’s coming back! Undoubtedly, Paris Hilton is a style ICON when it comes to the year 2000’s fashion trend. Miniskirts, fun patterns, mini shoulder bags, tall boots, mid to low-rise, and baggy pants are all coming in hot. This trend might be geared more towards the Generation Z population, but that’s just because it’s not necessarily a modest trend. In addition, tennis skirts, tank tops, plaid print, corset tops, and button ups are all extremely popular right now within this style. So, if you’re still stuck in the year 2000, this trend is definitely for you!
4. Comfy Chic Trend
Last, but certainly not least, comfy clothing is all the rage! Give me all the matching sets and sweats! Certainly, sweat shorts, sweatpants, and matching tops or sweatshirts can make anyone look comfy, yet SUPER cute. This is such an easy outfit to put together and perfect for going to class, running errands, or lounging around in the house! Also, if you want to add a bold touch of Spring to your wardrobe, you can never go wrong with a bright colored sweat set!
